Queensbury, NY company, Henssgen Hardware Corp. and Haber’s Export Agency shift leadership from 2^nd generation to 3^rd generation.

Locally owned and operated, Henssgen Hardware Corporation and Haber’s Export Agency announce a change in ownership. Previously owned by Ronald & Nancy Shaw, the business has been purchased by 3^rd generation family, daughter Rachel Shaw Novak.

Queensbury, NY. April 25, 2014 – Change of ownership took place on December 31, 2013. Henssgen/Haber’s has been in Queensbury since 1984. Rachel Novak is very excited to be a new member of the Adirondack Chamber of Commerce and looking forward to growing the business locally as well as becoming involved in the community as a business leader. Mrs. Novak is awaiting the approval for her WBE(Women’s Business Enterprise) and WOSB (Woman Owned Small Business) certification.

Mrs. Novak is a graduate of Siena College and has her Master’s in business from St. Michael’s College.  She has enjoyed a successful career in human resources and business management for 19 years, having spent the last 10 years at Basin Harbor Club & Resort in Vergennes, VT. She and her husband, Matt Novak are both Queensbury natives and are pleased to be returning to the area with their two sons.
